All of my treatment took place/continues to take place at the The Royal Marsden in Sutton. The Marsden is a dedicated cancer hospital and the understanding and level of care shown by the doctors and nurses there in our experience has been as positive as we could have hoped for.

The Macmillan website is probably the most comprehensive place for cancer information and support on the web. I’ve also been lucky enough to have been assigned a Macmillan nurse who looks after my palliative care and helps support me and my family.

When I was in hospital end of last year one of the healthcare assistants submitted my “case” to the Willow foundation. This wonderful charity provides special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds regardless of circumstance. We chose to have an evening of Dim Sum followed by a West End musical and thoroughly enjoyed it.
